Mel is the owner of Melvin Love Investment Advisor and has been in the financial services business since 1986. As a result of extensive study, Mel is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). His firm is licensed as a Registered Investment Advisor with the State of Washington. As a Registered Investment Advisor, the firm carries the highest possible certification for investment management and consulting. Mel continues his education by participating in a variety of education programs and conferences. Mel encourages self-development among his staff by providing on-going education, training and a positive, fun work environment. He often states, “I have an investment ‘dream team’; they are dedicated to exceptional client service, have superior credentials, and operate as a true team.” Mel enjoys exploring the outdoors, RVing with his motorhome, sailing and snow skiing. He also enjoys the performing arts, piano music, traveling and spending time in his workshop. Among his favorite authors are Tom Peters and Stephan Covey. He lives in Kalama, WA with his wife Dinara, has 3 children and two grandchildren.
